Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Digict LTD collects when you use this website, buy licences through us or apply as a vendor - why we hold it, who we pass it to, and how you can have it corrected or deleted.

01Who we are

Digict LTD publishes and distributes digital products. When you contact us, place an order or submit a vendor application, Digict LTD acts as the controller of the personal data involved. Where we install or administer software inside your systems, we act as a processor on your instructions, under the terms of the service contract.

02What we collect

We keep the data to a minimum and collect it in three ways.

You give it to us. Name, company, role, email, phone number and the content of your enquiry when you request a consultation, a quote or a pilot; billing details and company registration data when you buy; product, pricing and contract information when you apply as a vendor.

It comes from using the site. IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps.

It comes from the order. Licence keys issued to your organisation, seat counts, renewal dates and support correspondence. We do not collect special-category data and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

03Why we use it

Each purpose has a legal basis. To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and run pilots: our legitimate interest in responding to a request you made. To fulfil orders, issue licences, invoice and provide support: performance of the contract. To keep accounting and tax records and to answer regulators: a legal obligation. To send product news and market updates: your consent, withdrawable in one click from any message.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to train models.

04Who we share it with

Because we distribute other companies' software, some sharing is unavoidable. Vendors receive the data needed to register and activate a licence - organisation name, technical contact, seat count - and act as controllers for it under their own terms. Payment providers, accountants and auditors receive billing data. Our hosting, email and CRM suppliers process data on our behalf under written processor agreements, and only on our instructions.

We also disclose data where the law requires it, and to advisers in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

05Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice; they are set without consent. Analytics cookies measure which pages and products draw interest, and are set only if you accept them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in your browser settings or through the cookie banner. Blocking analytics cookies does not restrict access to any part of the site.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 12 months. Contract, licence and billing records are kept for the statutory accounting period, normally six years from the end of the contract. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent, plus two years as proof that the consent existed. Server logs are rotated after 90 days.

07Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Write to contact@digictltd.com; we answer within 30 days and never charge for a first request. If we cannot act on a request - usually because a record must be kept for tax purposes - we say which rule prevents it.

You may also complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather hear from you first.

08Security and transfers

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is granted by role and reviewed quarterly, and licence keys are stored separately from customer records. Our primary infrastructure sits in the European Union. Where a vendor or supplier is outside it, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses, and we list the recipients on request. If a breach affects your data, we notify the authority within 72 hours and tell you directly when there is a risk to you.

09Changes and contact

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes - a new purpose, a new category of recipient - are announced by email to active customers and vendors at least 14 days before they take effect.
